Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri Mildred Hayes, a hard-nosed mother, seeks justice for her murdered daughter. After seven months of no arrests, Mildred put up three roadblocks to bring the Ebbing police chief into action. But the law – and especially Sam Rockwell’s hot-headed vice – does not favor provocation. And the people of the city are with them. But Mildred doesn’t mind shaking a few wings. In fact, she is happy to scratch the whole bird.
