Storyline:
In Canada, a writer meets Indian storyteller Pi Patel and tells him his life story. Pi tells the story of his childhood in Pondicherry, India and the origin of his nickname. One day, his father, who owns the zoo, said the municipality no longer supports the zoo, so he decided to move to Canada, where family-owned animals would also be sold.
They boarded the Japanese cargo ship with the animals, in blue, the storm was blowing, following which the ship broke.
